Privacy Policy
888 on Hood is an independent, pseudonymous art project ("we", "us"), operated from Sri Lanka. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the 888 on Hood website at https://www.888onhood.xyz (the "Site").
1 · What we collect
We don't create accounts and we don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.
- Wallet address: when you connect a wallet, the Site reads your public wallet address so it can show your mint status and the NFTs you own. We do not store it on our servers.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type and request time) for security and to keep the Site running.
- Local settings: the Site stores your motion/photosensitivity preference in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
2 · Blockchain data
Minting, transferring and burning NFTs happen on Robinhood Chain, a public blockchain. Transactions, wallet addresses and token ownership are publicly visible and permanent. We cannot edit or delete blockchain data, and neither can anyone else.
3 · Third-party services
The Site relies on third parties that process data under their own privacy policies:
- Reown (WalletConnect): wallet connection
- RPC/node providers: reading blockchain data and sending your transactions
- Vercel: website hosting
- Google Analytics: site usage statistics
- Cloudflare Pages: hosting the artwork and token metadata
- Your wallet provider: signing transactions
Links to marketplaces (such as OpenSea and Element), Blockscout and X take you to external sites governed by their own policies.
4 · Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used (for example, pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location). Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and processes this data under Google's privacy policy. We do not send wallet addresses to Google Analytics. You can opt out with a browser extension such as Google Analytics Opt-out, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
5 · How we use information
Only to operate the Site, show your mint status and NFTs, keep the Site secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your information.
6 · Retention
We don't keep wallet addresses. Hosting logs are kept only as long as our hosting provider retains them for security and operational purposes.
7 · Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing — for example under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022, or under the law that applies where you are. Because we hold almost no personal data, and blockchain data cannot be changed or deleted by anyone, these rights may be limited in practice. Contact us with any request.
8 · Children
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18.
9 · Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the Site, but no website or blockchain interaction is completely secure. Never share your seed phrase or private keys. We will never ask for them.
10 · Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do.
11 · Contact
We do not run a support inbox. Reach us on X — it is the only channel we answer, and there is no Discord.
